incredible potential of this fruit variety, a fruit that has been rooted in the
Pöllauer Valley for centuries, at an early stage.

The taste-intensive seedling Werner Retters owes its first steps into the wide world to his commitment.
In the meantime, the 'Hirschbirn' has outgrown its children's shoes and confidently presents itself as a
representative for an entire "Genussregion": in the form of natural juices, fine brandies and other limited
